Vocal intonation exercise

Pitch Matching

Listen to a target note, reproduce it with your voice and receive clear feedback on your accuracy.

Regular pitch-matching practice strengthens the connection between hearing, remembering and producing a note.

How it works

  1. Listen to the target note.
  2. Sing the same pitch.
  3. Let Intonic analyse the stable part of your voice.
  4. Review the result and try again.

What it trains

Pitch matching develops vocal coordination, intonation and the ability to reproduce a musical target without sliding around it.

Practice tip

Listen completely before singing, begin with a relaxed voice and aim for a stable tone rather than correcting continuously while you sustain it.
